Cousins in the Wildflowers

Today was a day of familiar faces...I photographed the two oldest's parent's wedding several years ago and met the newest little one in January when she was only a few weeks old for the Valentine special. These little cousins came out this morning to have their pictures done and were, as usual, so great to work with! They are all three so beautiful!

Thank you for bringing them out today, I had a lot of fun with you guys and it was great to see you all again!

My Littlest Guy in the Wildflowers

I decided to take my little Luke out for some photos in the wildflowers. We had a lot of fun. He really enjoyed playing in the flowers. For some reason it is so much harder for me to take pictures of my OWN children. They both have Photographers Kids Syndrome...They DO NOT cooperate when they see a camera! I guess they are so sick of me chasing them around with the camera in my hand. I was able to get a few cute shots though. It was really more about getting out of the house and going to the park anyway...I hope you enjoy them!

The Rajwani Family

I started photographing this family last summer at their maternity session when they were waiting for the twins to be born. Today the grandparents and uncle came along for a session of the whole family. It was a lot of fun. These two little cuties are loved SO very much! No one could keep their hands off of them, including me. They both just draw you in with their adorable personalities. Uncle Simon was a great help today too at getting their attention for me. There were so many cute ones that I had a hard time deciding which ones to post...I hope you enjoy them!

Official Wildflower Special Announcement

I am finally confident enough in the progress of the flowers to make the official wildflower announcement. I am SO excited to get started!

The Wildflower Special is the most popular of all of the specials that I offer to my clients. Over the past several years it has become many families tradition to have their annual portraits taken in the Wildflowers each year. I enjoy getting to see how much your children have grown and I look forward to seeing you all again this year!

Sessions will start on Monday April 28th. The sessions will be on the following days at the following times: Monday (28th), Wednesday (30th), Thursday (1st), Friday (2nd) at 9, 10 and 11 AM & 6 and 7 PM. I will also have sessions on Saturday May 3rd at the same times.

The Wildflower Special is as follows: The session fee is $75 and includes a complimentary 5x7 (that is a $100 savings!) The session is for up to 4 people, additional people are $15 each. The session fee is due at the time of booking to reserve your time. The available spaces will go extremely quickly so be sure to call ASAP to reserve your session.

I look forward to seeing many familiar faces and new ones too.

Wildflower Update

I just wanted to give everyone an update on the progress of the wildflowers...progress has been slower this year as the flowers have been planted in an area that doesn't receive full sun for a good portion of the day. The good news is they are getting closer to being ready. I am guessing that they will be in their prime in about 2 weeks. I will make the full announcement with all the special details and available dates on Monday. I also plan on sending out an email with complete details as well.

My little book did great!

This past Tuesday at the Dallas Professional Photographers meeting my little album that has been featured in the previous posts took second place in the album competition! I am so excited! It got a score of 402, it just missed first place by only 6 points!

The Zeitman Family

I had a wonderful session yesterday morning with a lovely family. You may recognize the baby from a session that I did last month, she is such a little doll! This time we included the whole family. They have a beautiful home full of lots of wonderful light. It is a great place to shoot.

My little book is in!!!

I had designed a little book from a session that I did earlier this year and I received the album and prints yesterday. I just LOVE the way it turned out! The album that I ordered is a 5x5 blue leather album from the Finao Album line. The leather is really beautiful and SO soft! I thought I would share it with you here. You can see the complete layout of the album in the post below this one titled Fletcher's Album. Be sure to check it out when you come into the studio as well. The album is available in many different types of cover styles and sizes. I am so excited to be able to offer this new album line to my clients!
