Wildflower Update

Last Friday I went by my park to check on the progress of the wildflowers. I was very upset to find that my usual area had been recently mowed!!! Let's just say I was beside myself! I called the parks department and spoke with the man in charge. He very patiently listened to me as I told him I was a photographer that used a specific area of a specific park and that it had been mowed. He checked on where the flowers would be for me and when I went to where he said I was VERY happy to see what is gong to be a great display starting to grow.

I think the flowers are going to be better than ever! The planting area is at least 3 times larger than it has been over the past several years. I will be watching their progress over the next week and I will be announcing the dates based on last years time of the best show and this years progress. I know that many of you have been anxiously awaiting the announcement of dates and times. Stay tuned for more updates and the official announcement in the next week or so.

My Boys

I know that I don't share my family pictures very often...usually my children don't like to cooperate! The other day they both stood still long enough for me to get a couple. After my oldest saw these he actually agreed to a session of him with his skateboard...it's a miracle! I was hoping to do it this weekend before he changes his mind but the weather is so bad. Maybe we can do it next week.

I like these shots because they show who each one is right now in their lives. My oldest is totally into skateboarding and roller blading and the little one is into Mardi gras beads, his stretchy sunglasses that he got for his birthday and his big brother's Zune (it's like an ipod.)

Little Miss Erica

Last Friday I had the pleasure of meeting the beautiful, Little Miss Erica. I spent part of the afternoon photographing her in her lovely home. She wasn't really into smiling big, she was more interested in who I was and what I was doing. She was so cute the way she watched everything that I did with such intensity. Mom, I did get some big smiles for you but you will have to wait to see them at your viewing...they are SO cute!

Baby Tyson

The Traina Family has just added another baby boy (that makes 4!) to their family. All 4 of their boys are just precious!!! Little Tyson was very good throughout the entire session even though he was awake almost the whole time. I can't believe how great he was with all of the poses I put him in. He has a terrific disposition! I have been photographing this family since 2005 and it has been so wonderful to watch their family grow. It is always such an honor to me when families keep coming back for more sessions. Congratulations on your newest addition, I will see you soon.

Austin's Portfolio Pics

Back in January I had photographed Bryce (the older child pictured below) for his modeling portfolio. He was signed last month (YEAH!) and his little brother Austin has gotten to see what Bryce is doing now and wanted to join in so I photographed him last week. As you can see they are both adorable. Austin did a great job, hopefully he will get signed too, he certainly has the looks!

Janie and Jack Willow Bend

I have finally been able to post some of the pictures from Janie and Jack Willow Bend. Thank you guys for being so patient in waiting for your previews. I had a great time photographing your children again this year. I will see you all soon at your ordering sessions.

Janie and Jack North Park Preview

I have finally been able to get some images ready to post from the Janie and Jack Promotion. I have been extremely busy with the promotion shoots as well as my regular shoots.
