Yesterday's Valentine Promotion

Hi All,
I just wanted to thank everyone for such a wonderful and successful day yesterday. I really had a fantastic time with all of you who came in for the Valentine Special. It was so great to see all of you again! I can't believe how much all of your children have grown...it was great to meet a couple of new additions too!

I will be posting the pictures online next Friday so get ready to start voting! Be prepared to contact everyone you know to vote...all who came in yesterday are ready to win the contest's prize and said that they will contact everyone they know to vote for their child. I know it is going to be fun to read all of the comments that will be coming in.

Again, thank you to all that participated yesterday. I think I only had one family that I had never photographed before. It is because of your continued support and all of the wonderful referrals that you send my way that I have been able to grow my business so much in the past year. I really think I have the best clients in the world with the cutest, sweetest, best behaved kids as well! (and I am not just saying that!)

I will send all of you an email with specific directions about how to have your friends and family vote with a direct link to my blog.

Until then...Have a great day!

My Buddy Bryce

This is my new buddy Bryce. His mom brought him in last week for some modeling shots. As you can see he is definitely a looker! He was so charming and had a great attitude. He should be very successful at modeling because he takes direction so well and has the looks too. We all had a lot of fun and I even included a few in here just for his mom and me (the eyelashes, WOW! and couch shot.)

Theresa (and Aunt Julie too), I hope you enjoy this little sneak peek. I will see you again soon!

Last Session of 2007 and First of 2008

Just a few hours before I left town for my Christmas holiday I shot my last session of 2007. My client's family had come into town for the holidays so she wanted to do a four generation portrait. It even included her brand new, week old little girl Noel.

When I returned from vacation we got together again here at the studio for my first session of 2008 to do portraits of baby Noel with her big sisters.

Both sessions turned out really well and were a great way to finish out 2007 and start off the year!

I hope you enjoy your sneak peek, I will see you again in a couple of days at your viewing session!

Fletcher's Fotos

I got to photograph darling little Fletcher again last week. He is such a little doll! I adore this little guy and his parents! Every time I go to take his pictures they are so warm and welcoming and we get SUCH great pictures! All three of them are such naturals in front of the camera. What a joy it is to watch him grow. I can hardly wait until our next session.

It has taken me a while to get these up due to some computer problems, but here they are finally!

Thanks for such a fun, wonderful session. I hope you enjoy them!

It was a GREAT Christmas!

Well, we are back from vacation and I thought I would share some pictures and tell you about our trip.

We went down to visit with my Grandparents for the Christmas holiday and had a great time! They live down in Mission which is in The Valley just a few miles from the border. Since they are so close to Mexico we always head across the border for a day of shopping and a bite to eat at Arturo's our favorite restaurant. It was the first time we have brought Luke with us to Mexico and he had a great time. There is so much to look at. There are vendors lining the sidewalks selling all kinds of goodies. Since I didn't bring my camera I don't have any pictures to post of our time there...I will have to get them from my step-dad whose camera we used.

My Grand father always does a great job decorating his house with lights. This year his community held a contest for the best decorations and he won! I can't wait to see what he comes up with next year. I am sure he will win again, his are always the best!!

After Christmas we headed to South Padre Island for a couple of days. The weather was great! It was in the upper 70's with a light breeze and the sun kept going in and out of the clouds. While our oldest, Austin, is an old hand at the beach it was Luke's first time there. He ran right into the water and had a blast. Austin got a skim board this year and was a pro at in within a few tries. He LOVES the water, especially the beach.

It was hard to leave but good to be home again!

Here are a few pictures from our trip...Enjoy!

LOVE this of Austin!!
