Here is one from today...I will post more later. I just had to share this one. This is my beautiful friend Robyn. She brought her daughter in today too, to have some pregnancy pictures done. I think I could have taken pictures of her all day, she couldn't be more beautiful! Thanks for a great morning Robyn, you look amazing!!!!

The session includes up to 3 hours of location photography at no cost to you for simply calling to book your session before 6PM on Tuesday. (The session must take place before August first.)

Adoption, the Ultimate Gift

Talk about an amazing story!

Earlier this year Linda and Glenn were to adopt a baby boy, the answer to theirs prayers. They kept it a big secret so they could surprise their family and friends and then they left to go get their boy. After he was born his birth mom changed her mind and decided to keep him. Linda and Glenn returned to Dallas devastated. Now, instead of sharing their joy with everyone, they had to share their pain. They now had to decide whether or not to pursue adopting a baby at all. They just didn't know if they could risk going through that pain again. After much thought and prayer they decided to go forward with another adoption. They met with another mother and all of them agreed to the adoption of her baby boy who was due in June.

Soon after the adoption of the second baby had been agreed upon, the mother of the first baby called and asked if they would still like to take him because she was just not able to care for him. (can you imagine...going from no babies to the possibility of two babies born just a few months apart!) They happily agreed since they had always dreamed of having several children. That darling little dream come true is Chase whose pictures I took last month.

Two weeks ago precious little Hayden (baby boy # 2) was born. I had the pleasure of meeting him for the first time today. He is so beautiful and sweet. He was a real trooper throughout the session. He even posed for a few with his "big" brother.

Linda and Glenn, I am SO excited and happy for you and YOUR boys! They are so beautiful . You are going to have so much fun over the coming years. You are truly blessed.

My New Assistant

Hello All,
I wanted to introduce Lindy, my new assistant. She is so incredibly sweet and helpful (and beautiful too.) She is helping me with my Senior recruiting and around the studio and on shoots. She was great today. Thanks for all your help Lindy!

Michelle is Now Shooting Seniors Too!

Well...I shot my first senior session in a few years today! It was so much fun! I wanted to go with a more modern and fresh take on the senior portrait. Something that would be fun and different...no posing on 2008 cutouts and backgrounds from the eighties here (these are all REAL painted walls on the street!) I think the senior portrait should be about early adulthood and expressing who you are and where you are going in life. I want my seniors to be able to do that and I want to capture it for them. I want them to be able to remember how they were at this very special time in their lives.

I worked with Kristin today and had a blast! She is so beautiful and did such a great job! Thanks for your participation today, I really enjoyed working with you. I can't wait for you to see all of them!!!

Thought I'd Share

I thought I would share a few of MY boys. I know my youngest is going to kill me someday when he finds out that I posted a pictures of his bootie online. He just looked so cute I couldn't resist. Enjoy!

Baby Kate

This is my adorable niece Kate. My sister-in-law brought her over today to do pictures of her in her christening gown. The gorgeous gown was made by hand by my husband's Aunt Barbara. She is amazing at smocking!! How she has the patience and ability to do this I will never know. She is so talented!

Kate was definitely ON today! She was all smiles...it was hard for me to choose what to put up because they are all so cute. She is such a doll!
