Luke's 1st Birthday

Hello All,
Yesterday was my youngest son Luke's first Birthday. We topped the night off with some birthday cake . As you can see below he had a wonderful time destroying his cake. Before I could get back to the camera from sitting him down he had already smashed the cake in half! It was a lot of fun watching him really "explore" the cake. He kept looking at us like "are you sure I am not going to get in trouble for this???" He kept leaning over to take bites out of it...it was SO funny! He didn't smile until the very end when my husband went in to get him for the bath. He looked so proud of himself and the mess he had made!

I hope you enjoy them, I know he will someday. After all, isn't that the whole point of photographs. They take us back in time to the special moments in our lives....

Miss Miller is 1!

Today I got to photograph Little Miss Miller again. It was her 1st birthday today and we had a lot of fun celebrating with pictures. She was so adorable, blowing kisses, waving bye-bye, and sticking out her tongue, which her mother said is a new trick. After taking pictures with Mom and Dad we had more fun with a birthday cake. As you can see below, she really enjoyed it! She had to take a dip in the tub before she got in the car to head home...too funny!

Second Place Win at the DPPA Meeting

Hello,
Just thought I would share a picture from the Dallas Professional Photographers Association meeting. I won Second Place in the Illustrative category for my print "Sweet Cheeks." (That's me in the middle of the back row.) Congratulations to all of the other winners... your work was exceptional, as it is every month! The meeting was informative and fun as usual!

Cy's 10th Birthday Bash

Hi All,
I had a great time tonight Photographing Cy's 10th birthday! It was at Ozona in Dallas. He arrived in an awesome car then kids and parents alike were entertained by some wonderful comedians while enjoying a fantastic dinner. The night was topped off with a Deal or No Deal skit complete with a Howie Mandel look alike and models carrying numbered cases. The kids got to play the game for prizes. Everyone had a GREAT time!

Thank you Sherwood for asking me to photograph another one of your great parties!! They are always so fun and I look forward to working with you again soon!

Little Miss Miller

I was Lucky enough to meet Little Miss Miller last year when she was about 9 months old. I just found out today that I will get to see her again next week for her 1 year portrait. I am so excited! As you can see below, she is just a doll! I will be sure to post images of that session here so you can all see how much she has changed.

Hello All,
I finally decided to start a blog. I am so excited to be able to let everyone know what is happening with MS Photography and to be able to share pictures from my latest sessions. I will also be posting current specials and events and dates for upcoming "mini-sessions" Please check in often and tell all of your friends...

Yesterday I had a great session! The wonderful couple wanted something "arty" and I was happy to oblige. We had alot of fun and the pictures turned out great. It is not often that I get to shoot a session like this so I had a great time doing it. Thanks for your hard work guys!!
